Jesus was born! Not matter what people’s beliefs are, Jesus was, is and will always be the only Person who marked the history of both Heaven and Earth like no other. More than 2000 years ago, in the small City of David, Bethlehem, a child named Jesus was born. But who exactly was born in this child?
A King was born! The wise men did not come to Bethlehem seeking for just a child, they said; “Where is He who has been born King of the Jews?” Unlike earthly kings who have to wait in line for their kingship, Jesus was born already being a King. As a King, He was welcomed into this World with royalty; from Heaven, the Lord’s Angels adored Him, from Earth, the worship of the wise men, a worship only worthy of a King; gold, frankincense and myrrh. The King of the World was born.
The Messiah has come! Not only Jesus was and is the King, but He is also the awaited Messiah. When Herod heard from the wise men that the King has been born, he immediately inquired from the priests; where the Messiah was to be born? Matthew quotes the Prophet Micah when he writes; “For out of you shall come forth a Ruler…” There are many passages about the Messiah in the Old Testament that were forthtold about His coming, but let’s stick to this one from Micah the Prophet. In this passage, the Prophet declares that the Messiah would come from Bethlehem, and His greatness [Majesty] will be to the ends of the Earth. Why does His Majesty cover the ends of the Earth? Simply because as the Messiah, He is the Anointed One, The Father’s Chosen One, God’s Son, and He Himself is Lord and God. YESHUA HAMASHIACH.
The Savior of the World, we cannot forget that it was not only the King and the Messiah born in the person of Jesus, but also the Savior of the World was born in Him. For prior to His birth, an angel told Joseph about this Child; “You shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.”
During this season make sure you know the King, the Messiah and the Savior that was born for your Blessings, Salvation & Eternal Live; Jesus was born!
